| Letter Height Explanation
PLEASE NOTE: Letter height is used for determining size for the products in Sets of Words, and for using the Custom Design Tool. It is NOT used for any of the measurements on the Pre-Designed Quotes. The measurements listed on the Pre-Designed Quotes are OVERALL measurements of the entire wall decal, not the measurements of the letters, as described below.
Letter height is measured by the tallest capital letter, or, if there are no capital letters, by the tallest lowercase letter.
If your project has a capital letter in it, take into consideration any letters dropping below the baseline. Because capital letters do not drop below the baseline, the letters like j, g, and y will NOT be included in total letter height.

However, several of the script fonts (like Scriptina, for example, see at right) actually have as much or MORE letter height below the baseline as above. The capital "S" in this example is 1" high, but the other letters actually make the entire word taller than 1". |

This needs to be taken into consideration when choosing your letter height. Please contact us if you have any questions.
If there are no capital letters, the lettering height will be measured by the tallest lowercase letter, whether or not it is above or below the baseline.
